51-Year-Old Resident’s Home Discovered with 109 Grams of Marijuana

The community police of Ashtarak received operational information that a 51-year-old man living in the village of Parpi was illegally storing drugs in his home and adjacent buildings.

On the morning of March 25, he was arrested and taken to the department, where he admitted to using drugs for many years and acknowledged that he had marijuana stored in his home and nearby structures.

As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, a search conducted the same day in the basement and at the house uncovered a substance resembling marijuana weighing 109 grams. The following day, another search revealed approximately 9 grams of a cannabis-like substance, a syringe filled with the same substance, and over 22 grams of cannabis seeds.

The investigation is ongoing.
