Will the Prosecutor Follow Tigran Avinyan? - 'Zhoghovurd'

In the coming days, the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, is expected to file charges against Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan in connection with the misappropriation of approximately 25 billion drams by the ANIF foundation, writes the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, citing its sources.

"Avinyan, for his part, has reportedly confided in his inner circle about his plans, stating that if he is burdened with all the blame, he will have to name everyone involved in the case, starting with Nikol Pashinyan," the newspaper adds.

The newspaper was unable to obtain comments on this matter from either Avinyan or the Prosecutor General, due to the April post-election special day. However, they plan to do so at an appropriate time," the article states.
