I want to ensure that Russian President Vladimir Putin will follow my advice. This was announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, according to CNN.

"I want to make sure that Vladimir Putin follows my advice and acts accordingly. I don’t want to impose secondary tariffs on oil exported from Russia. But I think I would do something if I believed he wasn’t doing his job," Trump said.

It should be noted that the American leader has threatened new restrictions on oil exports from Russia if a ceasefire cannot be achieved in Ukraine due to the Russian side's actions. In that case, according to him, "secondary tariffs on oil and other goods sold in the U.S. would be imposed within a month."
