The Example of Ukraine Shows What Could Happen to a Country at the Russia-West Confrontation Line: Sergey Kopirkin

Many have long realized that the tragic situation created in Ukraine is a continuation and direct consequence of the centuries-old political confrontation between Russia and the West. This was stated by Sergey Kopirkin, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia.

"The imitators of Napoleon and Hitler are driven by the idea of revenge for past defeats, and it is evident that the main instigators of the current war are European countries, primarily Great Britain, France, and Germany, which apparently have not learned the lessons of the past," said the Russian ambassador.

Kopirkin noted that "in 2014, the West, as a result of its orchestrated coup, brought to power an anti-democratic, neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine, whose goal is to fight against Russia."

"The example of Ukraine clearly shows what can happen to a country that, due to fate, finds itself at the geopolitical confrontation line between Russia and the West, stops following national interests, and allows the West to turn it into a tool for the realization of destructive geopolitical scenarios," concluded the Russian ambassador.
