CEC Has Not Received Applications for Recount of Votes in Gyumri and Parakar

Within the framework of the extraordinary elections for local self-government bodies scheduled for March 30, 2025, relevant entities could submit applications for recounting at the polling station or for declaring the voting results invalid from 12:00 to 18:00 on March 31, 2025, or from 9:00 to 11:00 on April 1, 2025.

According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), no applications for recount or invalidation of voting results were submitted at polling stations No. 14 and 31 during the established timeframes.

Guided by the “Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia” and based on the results of the lottery conducted in polling stations No. 14 and 31, as well as the decision No. 16-A of polling station No. 31 on April 1, 2025, a total of 10 polling stations will undergo a recount of voting results at the initiative of the CEC.

Polling station No. 14 will conduct a recount in three polling stations: 14/10, 14/01, and 14/11, while polling station No. 31 will conduct recounts in seven polling stations: 31/78, 31/22, 31/66, 31/67, 31/70, 31/50, and 31/41.

The recount activities will commence at 14:00 on April 1, 2025, at the premises of polling stations No. 14 and 31.
