We Have Information That Bribes Have Been Distributed - Daniel Ioannisyan

There has been a case of detention on suspicion of bribery distribution just a few hours ago. In this regard, I must mention that the observational mission does not have data indicating that the detained individuals distributed bribes, but at the same time, I must say that we have information that bribes have been distributed. This was announced by Daniel Ioannisyan, program coordinator of the 'Informed Citizens' NGO.

“We can confirm that this phenomenon occurred in Gyumri. Whether it was carried out by the very individuals who have been detained now, or by those who were apprehended on Thursday, we can neither confirm nor deny,” he said.

As previously reported, candidates from the 'Our City' alliance and several other individuals have been arrested by employees of the Anti-Corruption Committee on grounds of direct suspicion of committing a crime. Earlier, the 'Our City' alliance had issued a statement on their Facebook page, claiming that unidentified individuals in civilian clothing had abducted council candidate Anahit Khalatyan.
