This Could Lead to Potential Conflict Between Russia and NATO, Says State Duma Deputy

The dispatch of so-called peacekeeping forces to Ukraine could lead to a potential conflict between Russia and NATO, and there is nothing reasonable about such initiatives. This was stated by State Duma deputy Yuri Nesterenko in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“There is nothing reasonable in this idea, as it could lead to a potential clash between Russia and NATO,” he emphasized.

According to Nesterenko, the initiatives concerning peacekeepers in Ukraine from France and the United Kingdom do not even have support from their allies in Paris and London.
