This is yet another evidence of its inability to negotiate: Zakharova
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has defended the proposal from Russia and the United States to refrain from strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, yet has done nothing to implement it. The Kyiv regime continues to contemplate war. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The terrorism unleashed by the Kyiv regime against Russian energy carriers is yet another evidence of its inability to negotiate,” said Zakharova in response to journalists' questions regarding the recent attack by Ukrainian armed forces on Russian energy facilities. She believes that the events confirm that Kyiv lacks the political will for peace. The diplomat emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities are prepared for any provocations that would disrupt the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
