Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has outlined three motives for continuing military actions against Russia. He disclosed this in an interview with Le Figaro.
“One of the motivations is the hatred towards the Russians, who have killed so many citizens of Ukraine,” Zelensky stated.
According to Zelensky, he is also driven by the wish for future generations of Ukrainians to live in a “free world in Ukraine, not outside of it, nor in Europe.”
As another reason for continuing the war, Zelensky cited the dignity of Ukraine and its people.
