Earthquake in the Armenia-Georgia Border Zone

On March 26, at 23:43 local time (19:43 GMT), an earthquake was registered by the seismic protection service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, with coordinates of 41.15° North latitude and 43.87° East longitude, in the Armenia-Georgia border area, 6 km northeast of the village of Bavra, at a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 2.3.

The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral area was recorded at 3 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Tavshut, and Ghazanchi in the Shirak Province, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
