When We Are Deceived, It Is Recorded and Voiced: Simonian

There is only one reality, which is that the Republic of Armenia defends its sovereignty and independence. When we are deceived, it is recorded and voiced, said the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, speaking about the current relations between Armenia and Russia.

“When our state has an assessment regarding any structure, it expresses that assessment, and based on all of this, it does not mean that we are severing our ties with any state. The same applies to Russia; we are not maintaining any tension; there is a question and an answer, and if there is no answer, we still raise our concerns,” Simonian stated.

Simonian added that everything related to that state remains the same, nothing has changed. “Just like a few years ago, our questions are the same today; we talk and will continue to talk. As for our attitude towards the CSTO, we should not reconsider our position, but rather, they should,” Simonian said.
