We Have Not Yet Responded to Trump: Araqchi

Iran has not yet responded to the letter from the US President. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi during a joint press conference in Yerevan with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

“We have not yet responded to the US President's letter, but the response is in the preparation phase and will be presented in due course. Our negotiations with the US are quite clear, especially in the context of military threats and the increasing economic sanctions. We will not have direct negotiations with the US, but Iran has always been ready to negotiate with the three European countries and other interested parties regarding its peaceful nuclear program to create transparency,” Araqchi said. “We are engaged in discussions regarding our nuclear programs and we will not leave the negotiating table,” he added.
