Vardan Ghukasyan Belongs in a Colony, Says Simonyan

Is there anyone in Gyumri or the Republic of Armenia who has a different opinion that Vardanik, Martuni, and the others represent the former authorities? This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with journalists.

“I trust the wisdom of the Gyumri resident and know that he is well acquainted with everyone and knows their ways well,” he said.

Simonyan also spoke about the proposal made by former Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan to the members of the ruling Civil Contract party. “First of all, he does not understand where he has ended up. And indeed, I believe his place is in a colony,” he said.
