Prosecutor's Office Demands 4.5 Billion Drams from Former Chief of General Staff Movses Hakobyan and Another Official

The Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit against the former Chief of the General Staff, Movses Hakobyan, and another former official of the Ministry of Defense, Armen Harutyunyan. This information was obtained from the 'Datalex' judicial information system, according to Factor.am.

According to information available in the system, the lawsuit was submitted to the Anti-Corruption Civil Court by the Military Central Prosecutor's Office. It has been assigned to Judge Lili Drmeyan. No additional information regarding the case is available in the system.

In response to your letter dated March 20, 2025, it was reported that on March 14, 2025, the Military Central Prosecutor's Office submitted a lawsuit to the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia against Movses Hrant Hakobyan and Armen Samsoni Harutyunyan, demanding compensation of 4 billion 370 million 985 thousand drams for damages caused to the state as a result of illegal conduct.
