Abbas Araqchi to Visit Armenia Tomorrow

The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will visit Armenia on an official trip on Monday, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region will be discussed in Yerevan, stated Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei.

“As part of the bilateral relations between Iran and its neighbors and ongoing consultations in the region, our country’s foreign minister will visit Yerevan on Monday,” Baghaei said.

According to him, during the visit, which is to be initiated by the Armenian side, Araqchi will meet with his counterpart, as well as the Prime Minister and other representatives of the Armenian authorities.

In addition to discussing bilateral relations, the agenda will include the recent events in the South Caucasus region.
