Road Conditions Update

In several regions of Armenia, snow is falling, and there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads. This information has been reported by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The roads from the high-altitude weather station 'Amberd' in the Aragatsotn region to Kary Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed. The passes of Spitak, Stepanavan, and Dilijan are closed to cargo trucks.

The road from Nigavan to Tsilkar is difficult to pass for cargo trucks.

In Lori Province (except for the city of Spitak), snow is falling in the regions of Ashotik and Aparan. In the high-altitude areas of Syunik, there is fog.

Blizzards are reported in the Aragats region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds drivers to travel exclusively on winter tires.
