Ministry of Internal Affairs Denies Reports of Mass Theft of Georgian License Plates

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has denied reports regarding mass thefts of Georgian license plates. In an interview with Auroranews, MIA spokesperson Narek Sargsyan stated, “The information is not true. From March 19 to the present, only one case of the theft of a Georgian license plate has been recorded in the Central administrative district. If there are citizens who have been affected or whose license plates have been stolen, we ask them to contact the police.”

Furthermore, it should be noted that users on various social media platforms have raised alarms about the theft of license plates from vehicles belonging to football fans arriving from Georgia in different areas of Yerevan.
