Trump is Ready to Do Anything to Prevent Iran from Obtaining Nuclear Weapons, Says Rubio

The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated in an interview that President Trump will do everything possible to ensure that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons.

"The President has made it clear: he is ready to do anything to prevent Iran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons. He was extremely clear on this issue. He is a President who seeks peace. If you were to ask him, he would say that he would prefer to resolve the issue diplomatically, without war," said the Secretary of State.

According to him, even if other countries do not join the U.S. initiative, the U.S. will nonetheless undertake this step alone. "It is unacceptable for us to have a world where Iran and the Ayatollahs, those religious fanatics, possess nuclear weapons," Rubio emphasized.
