The ‘Margara’ Crossing Point on the Border with Turkey to Open for a Limited Time

The ‘Margara’ crossing point on the border with Turkey will be open from March 21 to March 31. This decision was made during today’s meeting of the Armenian Government.

“As a result of working meetings between representatives of the relevant authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the Syrian Arab Republic, an agreement was reached to discuss the provision of humanitarian assistance by Armenia to Syria. The adoption of this draft decision is necessitated by the need to transport humanitarian aid planned to be sent from the Republic of Armenia to the Syrian Arab Republic through Turkish territory by land,” the decision states.
