Azerbaijan Used Time Wisely: Andranik Kocharyan

Azerbaijan's behavior is not new; they want to create a hotbed of tension in Armenia, and they are succeeding in doing so. This was stated by parliamentary member Andranik Kocharyan in a press briefing.

"We are monitoring the border situation, and if we see a threat, our armed forces will take appropriate measures within their authority. Azerbaijan has stated that they have no problem with this treaty, we have announced that we will sign it, and various international organizations and countries have reacted by welcoming this step. The peace in the region must be secured by a document in order for us to start building it in reality," said the parliamentarian.

Kocharyan also noted that Azerbaijan utilized time wisely, building the system they wanted to achieve their goals. "Unlike Azerbaijan, after the 1994 ceasefire, we subordinate our victories to personal issues, and this is reflected in the outcomes of the wars. We lost in both the Four-Day War and the 44-Day War. Fighting is easy; achieving peace is difficult," the parliamentarian added.
