When Will the Rain Stop? Weather in Armenia

The current cyclone will remain in the republic until March 23, inclusive. This was stated by Gagik Surenyants, Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page.

“From time to time, with certain pauses, precipitation will continue in most regions, including Yerevan, over the next 5 days,” the post reads.

It has been noted earlier that the air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-12 degrees from March 19-23, and by 11-13 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik, especially during the daytime.

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, from March 19-22, precipitation is expected in most regions, particularly in mountainous areas at night, with substantial snowfall occurring from March 19-22 in some locations. This information is reported by the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.

The wind is southwestern at a speed of 2-5 m/s. On the afternoon of March 19 and on the 20-21, strong winds of 15-19 m/s are expected in certain areas.

The air temperature from March 19-23, especially during the daytime, will gradually decrease by 10-12 degrees, with reductions of 11-13 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik.

In Yerevan, from March 19-22, rain is expected, and thunderstorms are possible. On March 23, dry weather is anticipated. On the afternoon of March 19, the temperature will reach 12-14 degrees, while in the evening it will drop to +8...+10 degrees.
