Obama Made Them Get Married, Trump

US President Donald Trump has expressed caution regarding the closer ties between China and Russia. Trump spoke about this in an interview with Fox News.

"As a student of history, the first thing you learn is that it is undesirable for Russia and China to unite. Obama made them 'get married,' which never could have happened because they have always been adversarial. Now they are probably friends, and we will try to be friends with both," he said.

The president questioned the foundations of the bilateral relationship between Moscow and Beijing, stating that they are not natural. "They may be on friendly terms now, but we too are prepared to maintain friendly relations with both," Trump noted.
