Criminal Proceedings Initiated Over Assault of Artsakh Youth in Vanadzor Police Station

Criminal proceedings have been initiated based on a report regarding the assault of a youth from Artsakh at the Vanadzor Police Department. This information was provided to Auroranews by Kim Avdalyan, the spokesperson for the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.

The proceedings were initiated under clause 7 of part 2 of Article 450 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to torture committed by a group of individuals. The grounds for initiating the proceedings were based on the report received from the Prosecutor's Office.

It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that the Artsakh youth was subjected to violence at the Vanadzor Police Station.
