Major Theft from Nuclear Power Plant

Recently, a significant theft occurred at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant. Shamshyancom reports that pipes made of copper, nickel, and iron were stolen from one of the storage facilities located within the administrative territory of the plant.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia informed Aaroranews that a criminal case has been initiated at the Armavir Regional Investigative Department regarding the theft from the warehouse of the 'HAEK' CJSC, under the provisions of Article 254, Part 2, Point 3 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.

The nuclear power plant has suffered substantial material damage.
