Chagh Rustam and Ashot Kureghyan Re-Arrested in Fazhi Murder Case

Criminal authority known as “Fazhi,” Sergey Grigoryan's murder case suspects Rustam Stepanyan, nicknamed “Chagh Rustam,” and Ashot Kureghyan have been re-arrested. The information was reported to Auroranews by the Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that the Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Masis Melkonyan, had decided to change the restrictive measures for Stepanyan and Kureghyan. Initially, they were under house arrest with a combination of bail and a prohibition on leaving.

The Prosecutor's Office filed appeals, demanding the annulment of the lower court's decision and the imposition of imprisonment as a measure of restraint. The court granted the prosecutor's appeals, leading to the suspects' re-arrest.
