New Benefits for Public Transport Users in Yerevan

The Yerevan City Council has adopted a draft bill to establish new benefits for public transport fares. According to the proposal, transport will become free for all citizens of Armenia who possess a third group disability due to military service.

“We owe such gratitude to those individuals who, without a moment's hesitation, went out and fought during the 90s, in 2016, and in the 44-day war, and who have lost part of their health,” said Vahan Avagyan, a member of the ‘Public Voice’ faction.
