Armenian Defense Ministry Releases Statement

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement alleging that Armenian Armed Forces fired at Azerbaijani positions in the eastern and southeastern parts of the border from 22:15 on March 17 to 00:20 on March 18 does not reflect the truth. This was reported by the Armenian Defense Ministry.

It is worth reminding that the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Armenia has proposed the establishment of a joint mechanism to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or related information, to which Azerbaijan has yet to respond.

The Armenian Defense Ministry reaffirms that, in line with the position of the Prime Minister's Office, it is ready to investigate the facts supporting the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement, provided they are communicated to Armenia.
