Ukraine Launches Large-Scale Drone Attack on Russia, Ministry of Defense Announces

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that air defense forces were active during the night of March 15 in the regions of Volgograd, Voronezh, Belgorod, Bryansk, Rostov, and Kursk. According to the ministry, a total of 126 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed.

Specifically, the air defense forces shot down 64 UAVs in the skies over Volgograd region, 38 in Voronezh, 14 in Belgorod, 7 in Bryansk, 2 in Rostov, and 1 in Kursk.

At Saratov and Volgograd airports, restrictions were imposed overnight on the arrival and departure of aircraft. Both airports resumed normal operations in the morning.
