US Resumes Construction of Wall at Mexico Border
The United States has resumed the construction of a wall at the Mexico border. This was announced by US Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem.
According to reports, an additional 11 kilometers of barrier will be built. The construction was not completed during Trump's presidency due to the Democrats' opposition. However, the authorities have now decided to continue the project to combat illegal immigration.
Noem stated that illegal crossings at the border have decreased by 95 percent, thanks to the strict measures of the Trump administration. Since the beginning of the year, more than 32,000 people have been arrested.
