We Consider It a Serious Risk: Azerbaijan Discusses Venue for Agreement Signing
It is still too early to talk about the venue for the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mamedov. According to him, the Azerbaijani side currently expects that relevant amendments will be made to the Constitution of Armenia and the Minsk Group will be dissolved.
“Both states can appeal to the OSCE in this regard. The Azerbaijani side has already brought this proposal forward some time ago, considering that the conflict has been resolved. Unfortunately, the Armenian side has not yet responded to the joint request. We hope that Armenia will inform us about its true intentions. Given the activities of revanchist forces in Armenia, we consider this a serious risk,” he said.
