Ukrainian Foreign Minister Outlines Three 'Red Lines' for Negotiations
Mariam Z.
Ukraine is not planning to officially recognize territorial losses, record its withdrawal from NATO and the European Union membership aspirations, or agree to limit its armed forces. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine will never 'recognize' territorial losses and is confident that no one can prohibit Ukraine from participating in 'any alliance.'
'Thirdly, there can be no restrictions on Ukraine's defense capabilities; there can be no limitations on the strength of our army, our capabilities,' he asserted in response to a question about Ukraine's 'red lines' in the event of negotiations.
