Turkey's President Calls Donald Trump: Details of the Conversation Revealed

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called U.S. President Donald Trump. The two sides discussed various political topics, according to TRT.

In addressing the Russian-Ukrainian war, Erdoğan defended Trump's initiatives to halt military actions, emphasizing that Ankara has always favored a fair and sustainable peace and will continue to make efforts to achieve this.

Other topics of discussion related to the situation in Syria. Erdoğan highlighted the importance of joint efforts towards lifting sanctions against Damascus, which he believes will help stabilize the situation, strengthen new institutions, and facilitate the return of refugees to their homeland.
