Ukraine May Cede Territories to Russia, US

The US Presidential advisor Mike Waltz has not ruled out the possibility that Ukraine may cede certain territories to Russia as part of the conflict resolution process. He made this statement during an interview with Fox News.

During the conversation, the host asked Waltz whether he believes Ukraine will not become a NATO member and whether part of its territories, particularly Donbas or areas with a large Russian-speaking population, could become part of the Russian Federation as a starting point for peaceful negotiations. Waltz confirmed that the host's interpretation was accurate.

He added that discussions on such issues are ongoing with both sides of the conflict. According to the advisor, the possibility of territorial concessions is considered as a potential component of future negotiations.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that during negotiations held in Saudi Arabia, US representatives discussed the issue of territorial concessions with the Ukrainian side.
