Their Time is Running Out Like Shagreen Leather: Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin's offer to Ukrainian military formations in the Kursk region to lay down their arms is still in effect; however, the time for Kyiv's regime is running out. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of Russia, in an interview with TASS.

“Their time is running out like shagreen leather,” he noted.

Earlier, during an operational consultation with permanent members of the Russian Security Council, Putin assured Ukrainian militants in the Kursk region that if they lay down their arms and surrender, they would remain alive and receive dignified treatment.
