In Case of Implementation of Unilateral Provisions, We Will Only Lose: Kocharian

There is a lack of trust regarding Azerbaijan, and we can talk about numerous violations, including the agreement of November 9 and 10, which was again violated by Azerbaijan. We have a lot of skepticism regarding that country. This was stated by Levon Kocharian, a member of the "Armenia" faction.

"It is very natural that we want to know what the optimism you have is based on. We must be sure that in this process we will not concede anything that will later be very difficult to regain. Regarding the border delimitation process, we are not against it, but we must emphasize the mutual trust that does not exist in this case," said the MP.

He added that delimitation should only occur when we are confident that Azerbaijan will also make compromises, just like us: "That country is always in the position of violating terms and agreements. If we are sure that their troops will withdraw from the specified areas, we will also pull back. We are not against it; we just have concerns because in the case of the implementation of unilateral provisions, we will only lose. We also see the disgraceful trials being held there, and here we must appreciate that they sincerely want peace. Excuse me, but it’s hard to believe all of this," noted Levon Kocharian.
