Please be attentive and avoid using the above-mentioned series of the medicine: Ministry of Health announcement
The Armenian Health and Labor Inspection Authority issued a recall order to "ALMA PHARM IMPORT" LLC on March 11, 2025, regarding the following medications:
- "Concor (bisoprolol (bisoprolol fumarate)), coated tablets 5 mg N50 (2×25) blister G0281U (expiry date: 30.11.2028),
- "Concor Kor (bisoprolol (bisoprolol fumarate)), coated tablets 2.5 mg N30 (1×30) blister G0280T (expiry date: 31.10.2026) and G029L8 (expiry date: 31.12.2026),
- "Euthyrox (levothyroxine (levothyroxine sodium)), tablets 50 mcg N100 (4×25) blister G02AQH (expiry date: 30.04.2027),
- "Euthyrox (levothyroxine (levothyroxine sodium)), tablets 75 mcg N100 (4×25) blister G02AQK (expiry date: 31.03.2027),
- "Euthyrox (levothyroxine (levothyroxine sodium)), tablets 100 mcg N100 (4×25) blister G02AUC (expiry date: 31.03.2027),
- "Euthyrox (levothyroxine (levothyroxine sodium)), tablets 125 mcg N100 (4×25) blister G02BGT (expiry date: 31.01.2027).
The order was based on the expert conclusions numbered 01/984-25 and 01/985-25 received from the "Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Technologies" State Non-Commercial Organization on March 3, 2025, along with letter number 03/1103-25 received on March 7, 2025. According to these documents, a comparative study of the quality certificates submitted by the license holder against the original was conducted, revealing discrepancies, classifying the defect as a recallable third-class defect that does not cause significant harm to health.
Considering the above, a recall order has been issued for these products. Dear citizens, due to the presence of a recallable third-class defect, we kindly ask you to be attentive and avoid using the aforementioned series of the medicine,” stated the announcement from the Inspection Authority.
