Current Situation on Armenia's Roads and in Lars

The Emergency Service reports that the roads within the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. The roads leading from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed. Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
