Belarus is Our Closest Ally, Says Peskov

Belarus is the closest ally of Russia, said Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian president, to reporters.
“Belarus is our closest allied country, with which we are united by a union state, the most developed integration format of the former Soviet Union, a new generation format based on the principles of mutual love and respect, considering each other’s interests,” Peskov stated.
