Flights from Yerevan and Other Locations Land at Alternative Airports in Russia

The Kurumoch International Airport in Samara, which serves as a backup airport, welcomed 10 flights from Moscow this morning. This information was reported by the airport's press service to Interfax.
On March 11, flights from Hurghada, Dubai, Magnitogorsk, Bishkek, Karshi, Termez, Bukhara, Yerevan, Tyumen, and Kemerovo landed at this alternative airport in Samara.
Earlier on the morning of March 11, Moscow's airport terminals had suspended the reception and departure of aircraft due to security concerns following drone attacks.
It is noteworthy that during the night, Russia’s air defense forces had destroyed 337 Ukrainian drones across 10 regions of the country.
