Avalanche on Aragats: One Missing

On March 11 at 15:26, the crisis management center of the Aragatson regional rescue department received a report that an avalanche occurred at the northern peak of Mount Aragats. A group of nine hikers was caught under the snow; eight individuals managed to get out, while one is missing. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Emergency response teams, including an operational group from the ministry's regional rescue department, a firefighting and rescue unit, and a specialized rescue team from the Department of Rescue Services, have been dispatched to the scene.
