Trump: 'I Believe in Putin's Intentions'

I believe in Putin's intentions for achieving peace. Dealing with Ukraine is more difficult than with Russia. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.

He also noted that Washington's continued support for Kyiv will depend on Ukraine's stance on peace negotiations.

"European countries have no idea how to end the conflict in Ukraine," the U.S. president said.

Commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin, he stated, "Putin did not want to start a conflict in Ukraine," adding that there are good relations with Russia.
