All Steps Related to European Security Should Be Planned with Turkey, Erdogan

All steps related to European security should be planned jointly with Turkey, stated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“Planning all steps related to European security together with Turkey will serve our common interests,” said Erdogan.

He also noted that Turkey's exclusion from the EU's defense and reconstruction programs is unfounded and unacceptable.

Erdogan emphasized the need to resume negotiations on Turkey's EU membership, highlighting Ankara's strategic role in European security and economic issues.

“The economic security and defense of Europe clearly demonstrate the importance of Turkey. We firmly maintain the goal of full EU membership and hope that the Union will show a visionary approach and resume negotiations,” he added.
