Lavrov States When Ukraine Conflict Could End

The Ukraine conflict could be quickly resolved if the supply of Western military assistance to Kyiv is halted. This was stated by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“We have said many times that the former head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, was right when he declared in his characteristic manner that the conflict in Ukraine could end within two weeks if only military assistance to the Ukrainian regime is stopped. We agree with this assessment. However, it is another matter that Josep Borrell immediately added, ‘but this can in no way be done, as Russia must first be dealt a strategic defeat,’ and then dictate the terms of peace,” Lavrov added.
