Russia Ready to Do Everything Possible, US Aware: Peskov

Moscow sees potential for a peaceful resolution to the situation surrounding the nuclear program that concerns the United States. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, Iran is an ally of Russia. “Russia's position is that this issue—the Iranian nuclear dossier—should be resolved exclusively by peaceful, political, and diplomatic means. We believe there is potential for this. As Iran is our ally, our partner, the country with which we are developing comprehensive mutually beneficial and respect-based cooperation, Russia is ready to do everything possible for this. The United States is aware of this,” Peskov said.
