Mane Tandilyan Refuses Medical Assistance with Her Own Signature
The president of the "Living Country" party, Mane Tandilyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "Dear friends, First of all, I would like to thank you for the numerous calls and messages expressing concern for my health. I want to inform you that this morning my condition deteriorated sharply, and I was transferred to the hospital. The doctors urged me to stop my hunger strike and undergo the appropriate treatment. Expressing my gratitude to the staff of Number 1 University Hospital, I have written a refusal of medical intervention and have returned to Freedom Square. My request, and that of our friends, remains the same—to Ruben Vardanyan to cease his hunger strike. I also thank the media for constantly raising the topic of Ruben Vardanyan and our other compatriots. I hope that those journalists with whom it hasn’t been possible to talk during these days will understand the situation. Tomorrow during the day, I will be ready to meet and converse with journalists."
