Situation on the Republic's Roads

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station to Keli Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn Province.

The Berd-Jambarak road is closed for all types of vehicles.

The road leading from the Jermuk intersection to the Syunik Province, as well as all roads in Syunik Province, are closed for trucks with trailers, and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for trucks.

In the Lori Province, all roads are difficult to navigate for all types of vehicles.

In the Aragats region, there are patches of black ice in some areas.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to exclusively use winter tires.
