Zakhrova Compares the Dispute Between Zelensky and Trump to the Film 'Heart of a Dog'

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakhrova, compared the dispute that occurred at the White House between U.S. President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky to a scene from the Soviet film 'Heart of a Dog'.

On her Telegram channel, she shared a segment from the film inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov's eponymous story, writing: "February 28, 2025, USA, Washington, Oval Office." In this episode, Professor Preobrazhensky rebukes Poligraph Sharikov in the presence of Doctor Bormenthal: "All your actions are beastly, and you allow yourself to give cosmic-scale and cosmic stupidity advice on how to divide everything in the presence of two educated people."

The meeting between Trump and Zelensky took place on February 28 in Washington and turned into a war of words. The signing of an agreement between the U.S. and Ukraine regarding rare metals was canceled, despite everything being ready, and Zelensky was forced to leave the White House. Trump stated that he sees no desire from Zelensky to resolve the conflict with Russia.
