Putin has endorsed the idea of reducing military spending by 50 percent for Russia, the United States, and China, an idea previously mentioned by Trump.

“We can reach an agreement with the United States; we are not against it. I think the idea is good. The United States will reduce by 50 percent, and we will reduce by 50 percent, and the People's Republic of China will join us later if it wishes.
