Ukraine Responds to US Demands

Ukraine has rejected US demands to create a $500 billion fund, which was intended to be part of a deal that would transfer some of the country's natural resources to Washington. This was reported by Bloomberg.

The fund was supposed to reimburse the assistance provided to Ukraine by the US. The Ukrainian side insists that the actual amount is five times lower, totaling over $90 billion.

Another obstacle in the negotiations is the lack of US guarantees regarding future military and financial assistance.

Recall that former US President Donald Trump announced that he is seeking to recover the billions of dollars sent to support Ukraine in its war against Russia.
