The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, has instructed the heads of administrative districts to pay attention to the cleaning of sidewalks and courtyard areas.

"We need to understand what the cooperatives have done with salt and sand, whether they have been distributed and cleaned. The impression we see in the courtyards does not leave a good impression. Our main task should be to direct our efforts towards cleaning the sidewalks and courtyard areas. Especially in the courtyard areas, the problem is serious; we are expecting -17 degrees tonight, and it is very important that this work continues continuously," said the mayor.
